Application
Paper , Plastic Film Sheet , Non-woven fabric , Metal foil , Resin/ Adhesive coating , Various paint coatings , Laminated material
Feature

- Comparable level is achieved with the use of soft X-rays, instead of using beta ray.
- No qualified operator.
- No need for calibration ray.

- Very precise
The driving mechanism of the X-ray tube and sensor utilizes a servomotor, a ball screw, and LM guide. X-rays are not affected by particle, diffusion, etc. when gauging material thickness. Repeating accuracy has been realized by the light sensor.
- Safe and sound
Soft X-rays radiation stops only by turning OFF a power supply. Moreover, it does not have any negative influence on a human body during normal operation. Although qualified operators is unnecessary, written application is required for the local Labor Standards Supervisory Inspection Offices in the area.
- Operator friendly
Since using MS WINDOWS, operation, data analysis, networking, and graphical interface are very user friendly.
- Light in weight and compact in size
The X-ray tube, receiving sensor, and the driving system are very compact.
Measurement theory

The law of an X ray penetration
I=Io*EXP(-A*T)
T= Thickness of measurement material
A= The absorption coefficient of object material
Io= Intensity of a signal when no object material between sensors
I= Intensity of a signal when object material between sensors
As shown in the above figure, the magnitude of absorption of object material is measured, and thickness is measured by correlating it.
Measurement area

.

With the use of ball screws, servomotor, and LM guide for the scanning head movement, it's XY position is guaranteed to be of high accuracy.
