TEXMAC Introduces TM Brand, the New Line of Equipment for Advanced Battery R&D

TEXMAC to demonstrate Compact R&D Coater at The Battery Show 2011

Novi, MI — October 25, 2011 — Today at the Suburban Collection Showplace on the first day of The Battery Show 2011, Advance Technology Group at TEXMAC Inc. will introduce their new line of equipment for production of advanced batteries and capacitors for R&D and Prototype productions. The series of equipment is called the TM Brand, consisting of equipment used throughout various processes of battery manufacturing; i.e. mixing, coating, roll pressing, slitting, winding, necking, welding, electrolyte filling and testing. These machines are offered in three (3) classes. They are:

  • Class 1 - For Standard R&D Battery Trials
  • Class 2 - For Prototype Battery Production
  • Class 3 - For Pilot Production

"We have extensive experience in energy storage and knowledge gained through working with customers of various sizes. We saw the need for flexible and smaller machines for research centers and labs. The TM brand will strengthen our line-up of Battery Manufacturing Equipment for mass production, " said Kosuke Kato, General Manager at TEXMAC Inc. .

TM Brand Compact Coater Model C

The featured product TEXMAC Inc. will be demonstrating at their booth B378 is a compact coater from TM Brand. This equipment is for coating substrate with chemicals to be used as electrodes in batteries and capacitors. For such a compact coater, this equipment is capable of handling both direct coating method and transfer print method, plus, as options, you can add extra width for the roller (50mm increments) and extra zones of dryer. Tension controller and EPC are equipped as standard.

Equipment for mass production

TEXMAC will also display panels discussing their equipment for mass production, used by several of companies exhibiting at the show. Staff on site can answer visitor’s question on either or both R&D equipment and production equipment.
